Sarah Allen has built a career focused on enforcement of our most important criminal and national security laws and policies. In addition to positions in the U.S. Senate and at the U.S. Department of Treasury, Ms. Allen served as Counsel to the House Judiciary Committee, where she advised members of Congress on high-profile issues including terrorism, white collar crime, human trafficking and child exploitation, firearms, and reauthorization of the USA PATRIOT Act. While at the House Judiciary Committee, she gained deep experience conducting oversight into Justice Department activities and authoring legislation, as well as guiding white collar, fraud, securities, and export investigations and litigation.
Ms. Allen’s prior work in both the public and private sectors includes her years as a litigation associate at Winston & Strawn LLP. She has represented numerous clients in both civil and criminal matters before federal and state investigators. Ms. Allen was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Samuel Der-Yeghiayan in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
