Mr. Andreson serves as President of Veretus. A former federal prosecutor, he holds broad experience representing companies and executives in criminal and civil inquiries by federal law enforcement, including the U.S. Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Andreson has led both multi-defendant and prosecution trial teams in white collar matters and tried jury cases to verdict in federal court on both sides.
Mr. Andreson has substantial experience leading internal investigations of business operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His commentary on white collar defense and FCPA matters has been featured in numerous publications and journals, including the Wall Street Journal, Pepperdine Law Review, and the FCPA Report. Prior to joining Veretus, he was a partner with Winston & Strawn LLP’s White Collar Defense Group, where he served as Co-Chairman of the firm’s global FCPA and Anti-Corruption practice.
From 2005 through 2009, Mr. Andreson served with the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he was assigned to the Financial Fraud Unit. During his tenure, he led numerous grand jury investigations and the prosecutions of several high-profile cases.
Prior to law school, Mr. Andreson served for six years with the U.S. Special Operations Command as a U.S. Navy SEAL.
He is a graduate of Old Dominion University, and received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School.
